General Information

These instructions explain how to install

the Center Frame Update Kit.

Manual Update

Refer to the Disk Harrow operator’s

manual for detailed information on safely

operating, maintaining. Refer to parts manual

for part identification.

Before You Start

For safety it is best to park machine on

level concrete floor. Be sure and block wheels

so machine doesn’t roll. Unhook the machine

so it doesn’t cause electrical damage to tractor

Review these instructions and make sure you

understand where and how the components are

installed.

Grinder



Welding Clamps

Assembly Instructions

It may be necessary in some instances

to grind the plates a little bit to make them fit

properly do to a few irregularities on the

center frame.

This is a list of the part numbers in

556-197V update kit for machines with S/N

A1152P- to be welded to center frame.

556-442D PLATE – TORCHED

556-440D PLATE – TORCHED

This is a list of the part numbers in

556-198V update kit for machines with S/N

A1153P+ to be welded to center frame.

These updates will require some

overhead welding to weld the gussets on.

NOTE: Be sure to install in the order

shown and completely weld each gusset

before you weld the next one on, otherwise

you will have trouble going back and

welding them if you just tack them on and

then go back and weld them. Weld the inside

gussets first, then the outside gussets next

and then weld the 556-029D gussets.
